Chico's Wild well Control
A couple of old wildcatter's were drilling a remote well that got out of control. In their
efforts to control it, a spark ignited the flammable gases that surrounded the rig. The
rig erupted in flames and was burning with an intense heat. It was decided that they
needed to call a well-fighter in to deal with this out-of-control situation.

Earlier when they got to this backwater town, the Toolpusher had noticed a new sign
that was hand painted "Chico's Wild Well Control". He had taken down the number and
decided to give them a call. In about 45 minutes Chico raced up in a pickup truck with
five Mexicans in the back. The truck ran right past where they were standing and
careened up under the substructure where the fire was raging, hit the BOP and
stopped. Those five Mexicans jumped out of the back of the truck and put the fire out
with shovels - in a hurry!

The Toolpusher, the Company Man and the entire crew were flabbergasted. They could
not believe what they had just witnessed. In their exuberance to thank them, a large
sum of money, as a reward, was mentioned. One of the hands asked Chico, "Well Chico,
what are you going to do with all that money?"

Chico said, "The first thing I am going to do is get new brakes for that damn truck!"
